Hi

I've downloaded and installed your app, so far so good.

However, on the car calibration screens, it recommends you visit this site "for assistance locating horsepower parameters for your vehicle"

Where can I find such info?

Hi, we need some parameters for car profile:

Drivetrain Loss (%)
Drag Coefficient
Frontial Area (m2)

I have a Chevrolet Astra OPC 2008.

Where can I found this parameters?¿

Ok i've found the GTC not the OPC but the chassis is the same (or not?).

Cx=0.32 (or drag coefficient)
Frontal area: 2.06m2.

couldn't find the drive train loss but with a little search everything is possible. bye!

Great app!!

Have you ever considered also using the GPS of the 3G to record your position. I would love to be able to record lap times on a track.

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback, and glad you're enjoying CarTrack.

Integrating the GPS isn't something that we haven't really discussed yet. But it has been previously suggested to us.

We have a number of features / updates to make first but i'll definitely add the request to our list.

Sorry I can't give you a firm answer at this time.

Richard.

I am having trouble with the lateral g readings. With the iphone solid mounted and both phone and in car calibration completed. When the car starts forward the lateral g,s jump to the right by about .4 to .6 g,s, this happens even in the house holding the phone flat and then tilting it backwards. No lat g,s are induced but the meter jumps all over the place. I have removed and reinstalled the app on the phone also.

Thanks for the help

Civic Type R

I've seen a few different figures for the Drag Coeffiecient - most say 0.31 - 0.33 - so i would use 0.32

The frontal area is 1.90m2

hope it helps.. cheers Ryan

The version is working fine, initially I was having troubles in downloading and I unsure about the price, but everything is clear now.

it doesn't seem to work very well

Sitting at my desk it recorded me going from 0 to 60

I would like to take it to the circle track and compare my laps and lateral g force - it doesn't seem to have this capability

For some reason, every time I try to open the details of my run, the program crashes back to the apps page. I can view the graph, and the g-forces, but as soon as I hit the deatils button, exits the program.

Pure and complete sorrow is as impossible as pure and complete joy. Do you think so?
